I haven't been sleeping well lately...

... & it has been DRIVING ME CRAZY! So, there have been a miriad of reasons that have passed through my head as to why i might not be sleeping. I am waking up like a bazillion times during the night-HOT! So hot that it wakes me up! Grrr! Driving me crazy. So, here i am thinking (one of the reasons i thought of) is that i might be 'going through some sort of "change" ', (one of my theories) so I have been kinda FREAKED OUT too cause afterall... I am not THAT old... am I? Also, i had noticed that in the evenings when i open all the windows to get the wonderful evening 'breeze' that blows through Mapleton every single night-i noticed that my curtains in my bedroom were being sucked up against the screen more then usual. The breeze usually comes directly into my room, blowing the curtain away from the screen. Weird I thought... maybe the wind has changed directions, maybe.... really reaching here...
Last night, as I lay in my bed, trying to fall asleep -all of a sudden it dawned on me! OH! MY! GOSH! Breezie is down!!!!! Of COURSE! Breezie stood just outside my window and towered above me just outside the house and towered above me. WELL.... She is not there anymore! She is not there to have the wind from the east hit her and then have the wind go around her -- right into my WINDOW! Since she is not there... Now the wind is just blowing RIGHT ON BY my window (thus the 'sucking' of my curtain against the screen)!!! EURIKA!!! Ü
So, last night I actually turned on my little teensy fan that i have in my room, and i slept like a baby again!!! yea for me! Today, I am feeling so GREAT that, not only did i get a good nights sleep... i am actually maybe NOT "going through the change" and that i was just getting HOT because My good ol' girl Breezie is gone & she is not providing me with a wonderful breeze at night. (who would have thought that her name actually REALLY meant something! lol) OH! i miss her! Yet another reason for me to miss her! She helped me sleep so sound at night. Once the new construction is done, I am sure that i will sleep fine because my new bedroom window will be on the East side of the house, and the breeze will come right in just fine on it's own.

and just look at what she has given us! This winter Breezie will keep us as warm as a bug, snug in a rug. Uncle Rich came over yesterday with a log spliter and we logged and stacked Breezie all along the side of the house. We are so grateful! Thank you Breezie girl!

& HALLALULIA-I don't think I am "changing"... Ü
