I got home today...
and found Aaron making wonderful holes in my yard!

Take Two on the front porch:The city simply would not allow us to continue how we were going on the front porch. They said it was too close to the street. They actually said that my HOUSE is too close to the street. Well.... my house is 112 years old! I imagine it was here before the street! What do they want me to do about that....?
Anyway, We are going to just move the porch back a little bit closer to the house. Not the great big porch i wanted... but i will love it the same. 
So, in order to do this, what had already been put up... had to come down. They have dug a new area for the new footings for the porch. Poor more cement, and then the porch will go back up again! Ü pain

I dug out all my little garden that i had there along the lengh of the front porch, so that today when they went to dig the new hole... all my plants could be moved. psheww!
