Thank GOODNESS for friends...

I am so very thankful for the amazing and wonderful friends that i have. ESPECIALLY since both of my sisters have moved away from us, I am especially thankful for the friendships that i have made here. I am so lucky to be loved, and to have beautiful friends to love. I need to talk about one in particular today...

Her name is Jenny. This girl has a heart of GOLD! My dear sweet friend Jenny, will do just about anything for her friends-or anyone for that matter- if it is something that she can do. She has ALWAYS been like this, since the day i met her. Apparantly, Jenny has been reading my blog! She read my desperate plea and felt my sadness when i could not get my hands on the rest of the 'Twilight' series as fast as i really wanted too. SO, what does she do??? She makes some phone calls... drives all over town... and then BRINGS me... TO MY DOOR... two Beautiful books!!! New Moom, and Eclipse!

As it happened, we had a wedding reception to attend. We didn't get home until a bit late, but there was a very excited and animated message from Jenny on my answering machine. I giggled

as i listened to it, wondering what in the world she was up too... (she kept it a secret from me on the message) The next day, i was going to call her after work. Well... I was just arriving home from work, and there is Jenny on my front porch! I wave & wonder at the same time-again-what is she up too? Ü That is when she held up two books. *GASP*!!! Well, i recognized them RIGHT AWAY! (as i am still doing the 'drive by' my house...)

Jenny! what a sweetheart!!!! Something that meant so much to me-that might have been something small to someone else but, She knew that i wanted these books to read & she took it on herself to round them up for me!! I was SO EXCITED!

Jenny, thank you SO much for such a warm and wonderful hug of friendship! You are the BEST! (i am already half done with New Moon! - I mught just make the August 2nd deadline! Ü)

H*U*G*S!

It's wondrous what a hug can do,

A hug can cheer you when you're blue.

A hug can say, 'I love you so.'

or 'gee, I hate to see you go.'

A hug is, 'Welcome back again!'

and, 'great to see you!' or

'Where have you been?'

A hug can soothe a small child's pain

and bring a rainbow after rain.

The hug! There's just no boubt about it,

We scarcely could survive without it.

A hug delights and warms and charms,

It must be why God gave us arms.

Hugs are great for fathers and mothers,

sweet for sisters, swell for brothers,

and chances are some favorite aunts

love them more than potted plants.

Kittens crave them. Puppies love them.

Heads of state are not above them.

A hug can break the language barrier,

and make the dullest day seem merrier.

No need to fret about the store of' em.

The more you give,

The more there are of' em.

So stretch those arms without delay

and give someone a hug today!

WoW! What a sweetie....Let me guess, is that Jenny Sabin per chance? It is so great to have such good friends. Mom and I were just talking because she wanted to borrow my first two copies and I thought that I left them for you so I was going to have you go look up in the office but sound like Jenny has your back! Enjoy the books! They are just as good as the first! (okay maybe not EXACTLY as good but pretty darn close)
