MAY finally arrives... with a BANG!

The purchase of our new home was finalized on the 3rd of April! I didn't dare get too excited because i knew that we still had to wait for another month before we were able to move in. We have waited and waited and waited for the month of May to finally arrive. Well, it did finally arrive... and it has been a whirlwind of FUN and excitement! The month started out with a bit of the jitters as I prepared to have Mom come to stay with the kids, so that i could travel to Kansas City, MO for our annual PrimMart convention. I was so excited to see so many of my 'old' friends (don't tell them i said they were old...) I was also so excited and looking so forward to meeting some new friends! Friends that weren't really 'new' per-say... I mean i felt like i already 'knew' them, and have developed friendships... but being able to meet them 'face to face'!! I was so excited!
Mom arrived on the 1st of May. We were all so excited to have her here! and the thought of her being able to be here for such a long visit was wonderful! LUCKY US! The kids of course were so excited!
My friend Karen and I met up in Salt Lake on the 4th of May at the airport, and on to Kansas City we were!
The PrimMart convention was SO much fun! It was so great to be able to see all those familiar faces that i love so much, and also to be able to see new faces... that i also love so much!
The thought and the excitement of being able to move in when i got home though, was always at the back of my mind. We had SO much fun. The weather a little crazy with an F5 that hit not very far from where we were staying-lots and lots of rain and thunder and lightening... but it didn't slow us down much!
