At least for just a little while... sweeet! We had the Fun-EST day on Saturday! The day was absolutely beautiful with lots of sunshine, but a bit chilly. would have been perfect with about 10 more degrees added to the temprature. However...

Friday we got a phone call from a friend, inviting us along with them on an adventure to the Hogle Zoo in Salt Lake. Can you believe that we have lived here for nearly a handful of years now... and have Never been through the Hogle Zoo!

Aaron was due to come and finish all the digging.

Our friends came to pick us up before Aaron got there... around 11:30, so we missed all the action at home, which actually might have turned out to be a good thing.

1. we had so much fun!

2. I might have been a little bit nervous being in the house watching all the digging going on. (nothing to do with Aaron-he has some serious... SKILLS! WTG Aaron) Ü I might have just been nervous.

Our friends treated us to lunch! and then off to the zoo we went. So much fun. Gosh! that is a bigger zoo then i thought it was!

They treated us to the train ride & the merry-go-round as well! Spoiled we were!

There had been talk about going over to the "This is the Place Heritage Park" as well, but by the time we got out of the zoo... it was a bit late (I had no Idea how late it had gotten, we were having so much fun) & it looked like it was closed, SO, instead we were treated to Dinner in Lehi! and then we stopped by Cabela's in Lehi! I was certain that we had never been there before, but as soon as we got into the parking lot... both Sadie & Drake exclaimed that they had indeed been into Cabela's before!

I was shocked!

Appearantly they had visited with Papa & Uncle Kent?? Possibly Uncle Anthony too? Again, I was shocked! haha! I just thought... yeah right! why in the World would the "guys" bring all the kids into Cabela's when they were possibly there to do some 'man' shopping? (I have no idea how many of 'the kids' were actually with them that day... who knows-maybe Abbie & Kate & Claire-Maya & Kai too???)

Well... once i got in there... HOLY SMOKES! what FUN! Why wouldn't Any man--stuck watching kids--NOT take them there? It was amazing! and... so much FUN!

As soon as we got in, they were feeding the fish in the giggy-ginormous tanks! Exciting to watch!

Then lots of walking around just to look... amazing!

then the 'shooting galery', yes... shooting galery... Inside Cabela's! Also a ton of fun!

I had just charged my battery-or so i thought-to take with us, but the 'charging' i gave the battery... in fact just drained the battery-so i will try and get pictures from our friends camera to share.

Well, it was definately a Very fun day. By the time we came out of Cabela's, the sun had long gone down. I was excited thining about all the digging that had gone on at the house during the day.

It was dark when we got home.... but sure enough... there were huge mounds of dirt everywhere! We had to wait until Sunday morning to take these pictures...
