Happy New Year! 2009

With the new year coming, I have thought a lot about what 2008 has brought our way & what I would like to expect out of 2009.

Drake, Sadie & I have been thinking a lot about what we want our goals to be and what we would like to accomplish in 2009. 2008 was filled with wonderful accomplishments & we want to keep that flow going!

I am So excited about 2009.

the little Allen family has so many wonderful things that will happen to our family this year. The biggest things concern Drake. He is at an age, where we are preparing for him to receive many wonderful blessings that will effect our entire family. We can just hardly wait!

Both of my babies are growing up, and getting older & at ages where they are starting to realize that they can do Anything they set their hearts and minds too. I hope that i am an example of that to them, at least i try to be.

I came across this AWESOME necklace today. I drool over many of her pieces, but i think that i am FOR SURE putting this necklace on my wish list!!!

I first have to come up with "my word" for 2009! (can't take that lightly! Ü) Everyone that knows me, knows that my favorite word in the entire world is JOY. JOY pretty much summs up all that i believe in, in many ways. Maybe JOY will be my word? However, it would be nice for this necklace to represent just 2009. I could use,

'strength'; 'happiness'; 'endurance';.....

any other ideas??? Let me know what words YOU would use for YOUR new year...

Hi Jodi, I've barely had time to read any blogs let alone comment lately! I love the necklace you are looking at, I have a favorite necklace by Lisa and LOVE it!!! I think I would pick either blessed or grateful. Good luck choosing your word.

What a cute blog you have! I'm in shock and awe of the beautiful raggady ann doll you made for the Nie recovery. I had to click into this post, becasue I too was thinking about one work I could attach to 2009. I LOVE Carrie's suggestion of Shine. (she's such a shiney happy person, of course she would come up with that :) I was thinking about the word GROW...but I think I like shine, now!
