Around the House....

Hey everybody! Sorry it has been sooo long since i have posted! It has been a FULL and Very busy summer! I can't wait to share with you our summer pictures! We went to the Oregon coast for a family reunion. It was SUCH a blast! The weather was AMAZING! It was sooo hard to come back to the UTAH HEAT! UG! It has been relentless this summer!

Anyway, I will get those up as soon as i can. But so many of you have been asking that i post pictures of the outside of the house. Welll FINALLY! Here they are.

Can i just say too... We have REALLY enjoyed our new home. It has taken us a while to get settled... are still are in some areas... but we just LOVE being in this house. It is full of charm... and it for sure didn't take us long to make it ours.

This is the FRONT (facing west) of our home. I have since planted all of those plants there on the porch. Two of them are lilacs and some sunny flowers. There on the south west corner of the porch, is a beautiful peace rose.

My AMAZING and WONDERFUL and GENEROUS! girlfriends from PrimMart.com, sent me a HOUSEWARMING gift of a gift card to Home Depot. (HELLO! How well do they know me!? Home Depot is only one of my Very Favorite places!!!) With that house warming gift, i purchased some paint for my front room, and these BEAUTIFUL flower pots (2) for either side of my front door! Thank you SO much ladies! I love you to pieces!!!

One of our favorite things to do is to sit on the porch in the evenings and watch the sheep and the sun go down. We have really had some beautiful sunsets this summer because of all the smoke from the UTAH fires. I guess if there was a silver lining... or a bright side... the beautiful sunsets are it! Thankfully, most of the fires are out now.

ok, Lets go clockwise around up to the North end first...

see up top there? ... above the North end window? (front room) That is Sadie's room. See the outline that seems like it used to be a window? Well, from inside of Sadies room, there is a hinged piece of wood with a lock on it. We haven't tried to get it open yet... but so far, no one has been able to tell us what it used to be! Interesting!

This picture shows the view straight across into Carrie's yard. Our backyards connect... so the kids have an enourmous place to run and play! (do you see my hammock hanging in the tree?)Me... IN the hammock...
